NY Times Cinema List Is Rubbish

City Of God is my favorite movie of all time, ever. The first time I saw it was in a StuyTown apartment. I was high on a triple stack of ecstasy (G’s up, hoes down) and walked to the lower east side from Lincoln Center. A spectacular experience. This movie is my comfort place. I’ve watched it repeatedly since (due for another viewing soon).

The New York TimesGreatest Films of The 21st Century’ list is full of shit. You’re telling me The Social Network, a film about that oblong face, reptilian scum, with his boring ass, ranks top ten? Over Black Swan and this movie? Were the voters high on drugs, how much did Mark Zuckerberg pay them? While the acting was great, it’s not that serious. Don’t even get me started on the films that weren’t mentioned. However, I do agree with Parasite’s placement, a film so extraordinary it blew all others out of the water. No words can articulate how meticulously phenomenal it is, 100% made with love.

Highly disappointed with how commercialized everything has become, diluting art (my domain). For the right price they’ll say anything, unfortunately for those benefitting from this corruption, that’s about to be over. Where’s the lie in what I said? None were told. Via: MovieUpdate_
