The African American is the creation of the English slave master and African woman. The former established The Laws Of Slavery 1600’s to define who qualifies as black, in order to disinherit the children they had with the latter. Specifically with The Law Of Slavery 1662 which started in Virginia, stating “a child’s enslaved or free status followed the condition of the mother rather than the father, making slavery hereditary (Wikipedia).” This is why black American culture is Matrifocal, from inception the womb defined the child’s identity.
This law also shows the way white men policed sex (read Why I Say Play Brown Sugar). They were free to fuck who they pleased and controlled who everyone else fornicated with. While white women still abused enslaved black men, in no world would she keep a baby from the union. Both she and her victim would be DOA. Resulting in the instant and covert murders of babies once born.
To this day white mothers of black children receive the side eye. Rightfully so, a majority of them tend to be explicitly or innately racist and their kids, disconnected from that side of their culture. Typically those are the problematics who say ignorant shit and don’t know how to do their hair. Whereas children with black mothers are never questioned. Even if they’re white passing. Knowledge is power. Thus people like Ron Desantis and Donald Trump try to erase history because reparations are obviously owed, and it doesn’t allow them to perpetuate the many lies of their white imagination.
