Everyday And Everything

I pull three tarot cards from the deck: the devil, justice reversed and the three of cups. Past. Present. Future. Instantly, I knew what the reading meant. Even faster, I remembered when none of this made sense to me. Stunned, I stare down at the ornate cards and realize everyday is a revelation of how far I’ve come.

Things I couldn’t do a year ago were easy for me now. When I couldn’t do crow’s pose. When I couldn’t do a forward fold, because my back was too stiff. When I was less fluent in french.

Tackle smaller parts each day, baby steps add up. Before you know it, in the blink of an eye, everything’s changed. The goals you set for yourself have been achieved, mutating into more complex creatures.

Name three things you can do now, but couldn’t do a year ago. What’s your next objective?

Everyday is not the same, recognize how much more you’ve grown from the day before, and the day before that. Congratulations.
