My sincerest apologies to Christina Aguilera, DMX, Brad Pitt and Steven Spielberg, you’re all iconic, happy birthday, but this day belongs to Keith Richards. The Rolling Stones taught me how to be. Keith Richards is one of my top three fashion inspirations perfectly encapsulated above: the print mixing between the pants and the shirt, the texture the snake skin leather jacket brings, the accessories, the bracelet, the ring, the brooch, topped with his signature shagged coiffure, pure style and sophistication. One half of The Glimmer Twins, dubbed by photographers the prettiest Stone and known to all as the master of riffs, this man taught me how to give a death stare, answer stupidity with sarcasm and if necessary utilize your guitar as a weapon when someone gets onstage acting crazy.
