Juan Peterson takes his son Gaspar on a road trip following the untimely death of his wife. Suspecting foul play and his illness worsening, Juan is out to protect his bereft son from his wife’s powerful family. Promising Rosario he’d keep Gaspar away from their unsavory plans. They’ve amassed and maintained immense wealth through their secret society, by any means necessary. Money isn’t enough, however. They want something more and believe Gaspar is the key.
An apt book, as the Illuminati & other secret societies are being exposed for worshipping the Devil and his many avatars (read Nicki Minaj Violates Jay-Z While Validating Me). “Our Share Of The Night” delves into the psyche of these demonic sects. Why they do it, what they falsely believe, what is gained, what they give at the altar, the rituals that take place and how insatiable greed perpetuates a dark intergenerational faith. The novel starts off a little slow to lay the foundation, in the end it’s worth it. I couldn’t put this book down. Crazily enough it’s rife with references of The Rolling Stones (read Revelation 13: Moloch/Baal/ Satan…Are The Same Entity). Another reminder of the cultural occult switch that occurred when the band entered the scene in 1962. A global transition from the puritanical 50’s to paganism and promiscuity. Between this story & Mexican Gothic, I’ve come to favor horror books by Hispanic/Latin authors (read Mexican Gothic). Can’t get enough. No one needs to read this more than the demonic elites, in the end you ALWAYS reap what you sow. Via: GoodReads
