You might as well be saying watching television counts as reading, because it’s from a script. Or you watched the movie adaption, meaning you read the book for the aforementioned reason (read Fact Of Life: Audiobooks Don’t Count As Reading). Then you wonder why the illiteracy rate has risen, more than half of the population can’t comprehend beyond a sixth grade level. Gee wonder why, could the rise of audiobooks for the first time be a factor? YES!

As Vince Staples said in that Ziwe interview, read a book, because you’re not that smart if you’re a dumbass. Read a fucking book and we’re living out the film “Idiocy.” Truer words have never been spoken, you niggas are imbeciles and need to get it all the way together. I’m actually stunned by how moronic the majority of civilization is. Don’t understand the basic law, can’t decipher real information from misinformation, inability to shift perspectives, can’t follow a proper line of reasoning when debating. It’s atrocious. Get back on track with these prompts and some books. I’m talking actually reading them, not audiobooks, which cannot be analyzed. If you’re not being challenged, your brain is atrophying. AUDIOBOOKS EQUATES TO LISTENING COMPREHENSION. PERIOD!

When learning a language you have to read the words to understand sentence structure, spelling, patterns etc. Ergo reading and listening comprehension are TWO different things. Both necessary, but not the same. Audiobooks do not count as reading. How is this even a question. Nor does it exercise the mind the way reading does, the fuck is we even talking about?

They require to different body parts, that says it all. Look up the definition of AUDIO. I can’t…What’s the point of subtitles or closed caption if these two things are the same?
