AUDIOBOOKS EQUATES TO LISTENING COMPREHENSION. PERIOD!
When learning a language you have to read the words to understand sentence structure, spelling, patterns etc. Ergo reading and listening comprehension are TWO different things. Both necessary, but not the same. Audiobooks do not count as reading. How is this even a question. Nor does it exercise the mind the way reading does, the fuck is we even talking about?
They require to different body parts, that says it all. Look up the definition of AUDIO. I can’t…What’s the point of subtitles or closed caption if these two things are the same? That’s the equivalent of saying watching television, going to a play, listening to music equates to reading. Stop being lazy, pick up a got damn book and read forreal.
