Diwali represents light overcoming darkness, good preserving over evil, knowledge defeating ignorance. This holiday is connected with multiple deities based on location and religion. Lord Rama defeating demon king Ravana or Vishnu defeating Narakasura, to name a few. The Festival of Lights is celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs, Jains and Buddhists around the world. Marking a new beginning, some ways to participate: wearing new clothes, feasting with friends and family, lighting oil lamps and candles, and thoroughly cleaning your home. Happy Diwali 2025. Um, I rewatch The Office stoned all the time. It’s a masterpiece. The way they have me in tears, I cannot. Anyways, I noticed Kelly Kapoor’s parents in the Diwali episode look exactly like Mindy Kaling. A cute little Google search confirmed these are in fact her mom and dad irl. For me this explains everything about her, she’s about b.s like her parents. For them to do this cameo. It’s the look they give when Ryan played by BJ Novak wants to confront her little sisters for calling him Zach Braff. Cracking up.
For years I thought I was Kelly, until my friend, recently introduced to the show after not understanding our references, told me I’m Oscar Martinez (play by Oscar Nuñez). After that I can’t unsee it. Y’all know I’m good for suing. Which character are you? Via: People Magazine
