Periodically Check In

“Everything is impermanent. Life is constantly changing, so you need to periodically check in to see if your old habits and beliefs are still serving you.

How To Find Your Purpose

What comes naturally to me? For just a moment, ignore what you have been taught. Ignore what society has told you. Ignore what others expect of you. Look inside yourself and ask, ‘What feels natural to me? When have I felt alive? When have I felt the real me?’ No internal judgements or people-pleasing. No second-guessing or self-criticism. Just feelings of engagement and enjoyment. Whenever you feel authentic and genuine, you are headed in the right direction.” Do what you love, if you’re having trouble figuring it out, do the above. Progress Not Perfection

“…changes that seem small and unimportant at first will compound into remarkable results if you’re willing to stick to them for years. We all deal with setbacks but in the long run, the quality of our lives often depends on the quality of our habits.”

Baby steps baby. Any amount of progress is progress, don’t add stress by beating yourself up for not being instantly good, or successful. Not only does it drain the fun from attaining your goals, it paralyzes you from trying, putting you in a why bother mood. Guess what, bother, because 1% everyday is all you need. Plus when you get there you’ll be so proud. Just like when I finally nailed Crow’s Pose, I literally thought it was never gonna happen for me. Two years of trying almost everyday and I did it. Gobsmacked when my legs Houdini’ed off my mat, not even joking, when it happened it took me 30 seconds to process.

Worth every fall. What do you want to get good at? What was your last Crow’s Pose moment (something you failed out then achieved)?Via: Adventuring_Into_Lettering & Atomic Habits

Things To Master For A Dream Life

1. Decide the type of person you want to be.
2. Prove it to yourself with small wins.

You only live once, don’t play it small. Life’s too, too short to settle, at least try. Shoot for the moon, you’ll land in the stars. Find someone you admire look into their advice, routine, mindset, mold it to your unique path. Master the changes you need to make, one small win at a time. Artist: ItsNata
