Happy Anniversary Michelle And Barack

I’ve had this meme for so long. Happy anniversary to two historical figures, the wildest dream the ancestors could have. A black family in the White House, when black people weren’t even allowed to check out library books until the early 60’s. Really let that sink in, so you recognize who the fuck they are.
What’s clear is they definitely have a dynamic, Barack Obama is obviously the petty one and Michelle Obama the bigger person. Every couple needs balance. Personally I’m Barack, will stoop to your level as opposed to taking the high road, will throw shade, will come for you if you send for me. Idgaf, I know who I am. People like us need Michelle’s. Barack Obama Is Glowing

Barack Obama is tan af and I feel a way about it…I will be heading to the beach to maintain my dark glory. I’ll literally compete with anyone in a race to purple, anyone. It really doesn’t matter if they’re aware or not. I was just taken aback by his glow and need to ensure mine doesn’t falter. I get so depressed watching my tan fade. It’s an obsession. Trust I know that the people I started this tradition with, we’re all still competing silently. I see you bitches. The race is that real. Tan safely everyone, it evens out your skin. RIP Sydney Poitier

Not how anyone wanted to start 2022 off. The first black man to win an Oscar, the first to portray an interracial relationship on screen with Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner. A groundbreaking film since it was made before interracial marriages were legal in 1969. Black men are not a monolith, or the stereotypes you created and perpetuate with systemic racism. Thank you for being talented, handsome, stylish, and legendary. We will miss you. You elevated the culture, Wakanda Forever. What’s your favorite Sydney Poitier film? Obama The Supernova

“The greatest departure from the script of the American caste system was the election of an African-American to the highest office in the land…First, to break more than two centuries of tradition and birthright, it would take the human equivalent of a supernova…’Only very rarely has a person to the same extent as Obama captured the world’s attention,’ the Nobel committee said, ‘and given its people hope for a better future.”

Folks always ask what has Barack Obama done for black people, he became President bitch…period. Are you kidding me? Read that quote again and again, go to a history class, read books, like coming here as enslaved captives, being raped, learning the language, the unknown land, lynchings, justifying it all with Christianity, confusing barbarism for divinity, segregation and more was so easy to overcome that we need to ask for more. This is a matter of equity not equality only; with the former in mind and the passage above, how does Barack Obama’s ascent into the White House (built by slaves) shape your perspective on his accomplishments? Political Memes

Just wanted to bring some levity to the political climate since it’s tense as hell in America, rightfully so. Hope these outlandish memes make someone laugh.

Happy Birthday To A President And A Princess

Two of the sexiest world leaders to ever exist. Their birthday should be a holiday just for their iconic level of existence. Thank you for both for being born. We are eternally grateful. Should today be a holiday? Via: Royal Watcher
