Are You Burnt Out?

This time last year I was at my wits, end down to my skin breaking out. Overwhelmed, overworked, taken advantage of, burnt out and abused terribly is an understatement. Currently I feel amazing after prioritizing my mental health, giving me a much needed life reset. I must admit managing my PTSD sans medication is no easy feat. I underestimated how it was affecting my day to day in every way, this disorder isn’t a joking matter. You have to actively work at combating your trauma. Feeling the best you can in healthy ways is of the upmost importance, life is too short and you deserve to enjoy it. Rest Will Do You Good So Unplug

Legit can’t stress this enough. Reminding myself to rest, reminding you to rest, is crucial. Overdoing it, burning out, is detrimental to you mental and physical health. You are not a robot. Make time once a week to do nothing! God did it when creating this place, the Jews do it for Sabbath. This is clearly emphasized, because unplugging will do you good. Staying in is fine, do what makes you feel happy. Not every weekend is an adventure, some are for self-care especially if you’re feeling burnt out. Personally I was invited to a Brooklyn block party, but I have all this legal homework. Literally have to type my domestic violence complaint in chronological order to be submitted Monday. The sooner the better. Cannot wait to remove and imprison psychopath Mick Jagger and his equally psychotic, idiotic children. The amount of documentaries about to be made about this is wild.
