Kissing Twenty Twenty Five Goodbye

What a year. As 2025 draws to a close, let us reflect on what it’s taught us. How we’re different from the year prior and what we hope to become in 2026. New years bring new cycles. This one was definitely the closing of karmic loops and lessons. A lot of shit happened astrologically, too. If you’re high vibrational you’ll have felt the energy shift, the clearing of the old for the new. Time for me to reign unapologetically. Bye Michael Philip Jagger, his services will no longer be necessary (read Two Major Lessons From The Devil). Nor that of his devout followers. You’ll see, Kali & Shiva. What’s your resolution? What are you grateful for? What are you happy to leave behind? Via: Tristan Ettleman (Medium)

Peter And May “Dear Me” Campaign

This Peter & May spring/summer 25 eyewear campaign gives indie sleaze vibes. It’s giving Karen O as a lit girl, with the bowl haircuts. I love it.

“Through quiet moments of introspection and connection, the DEAR ME campaign embodies multiple narratives, moving through spaces that reflect the essence of self-expression. Captured in a world where personal identities intertwine, each scene reveals an intimate exchange of memories, reflections, and each frame unfolds the endless journey of becoming…capturing the energy at the heart of the brand’s vision: by embracing our own perspective, we connect to something universal.”

They’ve ticked all the boxes for an effective campaign through imagery and storytelling. Just because you have the tools with AI, doesn’t mean you have the vision, talent, or skills to produce a successful product. That comes from the soul, like ideas. Via: Peter And May

Weekend Throwback: Sparks Nights

Everyone’s always going on about Four Loko, when Sparks is the true star. The now banned caffeinated alcoholic beverage that looked like a battery came in lightweight blue, classic orange, and boozed up black. We were amped up on the verge of heart attacks, living life indie sleaze style. No regrats.

One of the saddest days of my life is when Sparks was discontinued. Unlike Four Loko it was scrumptious. Of course no one could drink one without taking a signature orange tongue picture. It was a time. Man I miss the indie days, the music, American Apparel, the scene. Do you remember this drink? Photographer: Mia Foley
