Kissing Twenty Twenty Five Goodbye

What a year. As 2025 draws to a close, let us reflect on what it’s taught us. How we’re different from the year prior and what we hope to become in 2026. New years bring new cycles. This one was definitely the closing of karmic loops and lessons. A lot of shit happened astrologically, too. If you’re high vibrational you’ll have felt the energy shift, the clearing of the old for the new. Time for me to reign unapologetically. Bye Michael Philip Jagger, his services will no longer be necessary (read Two Major Lessons From The Devil). Nor that of his devout followers. You’ll see, Kali & Shiva. What’s your resolution? What are you grateful for? What are you happy to leave behind? Via: Tristan Ettleman (Medium)

Daisy Jones & The Six

Just finished this book written by Taylor Jenkins Reid, it’s based on rock legends Fleetwood Mac. It’s about a bands rise to fame, despite behind the scenes tension and drug abuse. It’s as if the more contentious their dynamics, the better the music. Still, the success wasn’t enough to keep them together.

I’m assuming it’s based on the ‘Rumors’ era. Fleetwood Mac locked themselves in their studio with copious amounts of cocaine. John and Christine McVie were splitting up, she started dating one of the sound guys I believe, exes Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham hated each other, plus she started having an affair with the married Mick Fleetwood. Similar storylines play out in this book, which has been picked up as an Amazon miniseries starring Riley Keough.

I love the way the book delves into the creative process of making music, specifically songwriting. Would you give it all up if it wasn’t making you happy?
