It’s the weekend don’t CC or email me.
Out of sight. Out of mind. Out of office.

Clock out, then clock in to pleasure. Whatever that means to you. Take the necessary break to prevent burnout from the work week. FYI, Gen Z isn’t drinking, because it’s completely unaffordable. $20 is the average price for an adult beverage, the fuck. Price that at $7-$9 and watch how fast their stressed out asses chug. Legit to charge that much is criminal. Everything’s gone up, except the minimum wage. Artist: Where_Is_Frances

Oftentimes it’s the small things that bring the greatest joy. Making memories with people worthy of your energy, reading a good book, journaling to get everything out of your system, taking a long walk, preferably in nature, or watching a film. Gratitude allows one to see the world isn’t scarce, but full of things to do and indulge in. Via: SelfCareVisuals

It’s a three day weekend folks. What was the toughest obstacle of your week? How did you get through it? Artist: HollyMurray_Doodles

Just like that person in class who asks a question that’s already been answered. Class is over, PAY ATTENTION. You holding everyone up for something that’s already been said. The fuck. Don’t let it be last period on a Friday either. It’s the same energy. Where’s the lie? Artist: Phaedra Peer

How you start the work week, professional, demure even. Versus how you end it, scantily clad and looking for a good time. It’s the weekend now, you’re a different bitch. Go live life on your days off, do something that makes you happy. Via: Yasmeen Ghauri Archive

Don’t forget to have fun, whatever that means to you: drinks, games, staying home, watching a film, sleeping etc…I love playing cards. It was our favorite thing to do during free periods in middle & high school. Winning that Rick James tournament senior year is one of the best things I’ve done in my life, deadass. Sara Tam introduced the game to the entire grade and we were hooked. I have to ask her what it’s really called, we changed the name after that iconic Chappelle Show episode with Charlie Murphy (RIP).
Cards also remind me of my grandmother, who always had a deck on hand. To this day I haven’t mastered shuffling a deck the way she could, an underrated skill. I don’t know if it’s the finger dexterity, or what I need to fix because every time I try cards go flying! FYI there are cognitive, creative, social and stress reducing benefits to playing. What’s your favorite card game? Via: Cest_Jeanne

Todays’s not my birthday, but imma drink this here wine. The way I’ve turned down from my twenties is insane. I’m tired just thinking about it. A fucking wild thing. So much energy, the highest tolerance, no consequences, because the bounce back was real. Whatever you do to relax and unwind find time to pamper yourself. Artist: Square Sayings
